Default Murphy Grub screws

Now I have found that very excellent knobs can be cast, I have some great A124 knobs, which look and feel like the original, I need some grub screws, the diameter of the original is about 4.58mm but what is this in old money, and where can I get 20 or so?

What is the lingo I need to get them thread size etc?

I think you'll find they are 4BA.
This might be useful.
There are quite a few suppliers who will get you what you want; Google for BA screws suppliers

As they are new knobs, why no go metric, available and cheaper (especially the taps). You can also use hex grub screws to advantage, i.e. you can screw/unscrew them easily.

Ask for Ryan or Martin.

You can obtain a range of BA and other screws, nuts and washers from EKP Barnstaple. Excellent service.

WOW! Thanks Ted - I pass by every working day within 100 yards and never even knew they existed! They are in Bratton Fleming which is a small village at the head of a valley - exactly the sort of place I'd want to support.

Thanks again!
