Fabricating Ekco AC85 Speaker Bar
I need to fabricate a speaker bar for an Ekco AC85 that is missing one of these. Has anyone else undertaken this task please? If so, I would be very interested to hear about materials used, and method followed. Any advice gratefully received. Many thanks.

A bit of brass? Painted for the dark ones or chrome plated for the (well I never) chrome ones. You can't reproduce chrome plate in any other way, if they are the chrome ones, get all re-chromed at once, it won't cost any more. I had my A22 ring re-chromed, it came out lovely.

Excellent idea, thank-you, particularly as I find that brass flat bar is readily available in 1/8" x 1/2", exactly the right size. I imagine that it and Bakelite will affix to each other with Superglue.
