Philips Catalogue Autumn 1973
I have been having a bit of a sort out and found a Philips catalogue with TV's and audio in so have scanned it in case it's useful to anyone

This has brought back some memories seeing this. Have just spotted the RL-411, which was the first transistor radio I bought out of my own wages. Wish I could remember how much it cost. Thanks again.

Thanks for scanning that- it's really interesting to see all the different guises the G8 came in!
I think calling that wretched G8 push button assembly an electronic brain is going a bit far though! As it turned out, a mechanical tuner would probably have been more reliable. Cheers Nick |

Very interesting.
Has anyone ever come across or heard the motional feedback 'speakers detailed on the last couple of pages? I was fascinated by these when I first saw a description of them in about '77. I'd imagine that the design of these would be rather tricky; maintaining stability and avoiding the things becoming very loud power oscillators would be challenging. John |
