My Grandad used to have a pair of ‘Ross’ branded plug in intercoms, I remember we used to mess about with them when we went to visit, there would be one in the house, and the other in his shed at the bottom of the garden, strangely it was me in his shed, and he was in the house! Sadly I think they got chucked in the skip when his shed was cleared some years ago. They were small grey boxes with a metal speaker grille in the middle, and 3 buttons, one of which locked down the talk button. I’m sure he said he got them out of the bin at the bank he worked at!
