Default Hacker Radios, Ferrograph bits & Small meter

During the lockdown I have looked at my ‘round to it pile’ and decided some things I will never get round to, as RetroTech and RWB have been cancelled I will offer them for sale here.

I have included the cost of postage and packing for each item, if you want several I will re-calculate the cost. If you are local to BS9 we could do collection whilst observing the social distancing rules.

Please PM expressing your interest and leave a message on here for the benefit of others. I would prefer PayPal but we could also do a bank transfer. First come.

1. nVidia PCI Graphics card type FX5200 which I believe is the one of the supported types for the PC Standards converter by Kat Manton and others.
£5 Postage £3

2. Original hardback Ferrograph Operators Handbook in good condition including all the circuit diagrams and supplements in the back pocket. Slight damage to spine but the missing bit is tucked inside.
£5 Postage £3

3. 2 Ferrograph original tape reels one empty boxed and one in a BASF plastic case with BASF tape and leaders, no idea what’s on the tape.
£5 Postage £5

4. Small Smiths Art Deco style Bakelite electric clock complete, with no cracks or chips. I believe the motor needs freeing up.
£5 Postage £5

5. Hacker RPC1 complete and working in need of TLC, the anodising has gone bronzed and the ends have been painted white.
£25 Postage £10

6. Three hacker RP18 working in various degrees, one on FM, all crackle on audio, obviously they contain AF series transistors so expect tin whiskers. One is the rare early white dial one. I think there are enough parts to build 2 good ones. I will include a god printed copy of the service manual and 2 18V PSUs that can be modified to power the Hackers.
£25 Postage £12

7. Small meter 0-30 and 0-90 mA, it was with a valve tester I bought a few years ago to measure Anode Current, I have never used it, it seems to work but the needle has a slight bend and is heavily damped. Reads OK when I used 60mA from Micro Cal.
£5 Postage £5

Hi Chris,

I'm interested in the Hackers, item 6, please.

Ought to be able to get one or two going and complete a Helmsman I've had on the tuit pile.

If one of the members getting the Hackers should find themselves left with an un-needed chrome handle end-cover clip that would suit an RP25A (Sovereign II), I would be an eager and very grateful customer! I only need one of the clips.
