Default Heavy variac PU East Sussex.

Is anyone able to pick up and store for a while a big variac from E sussex area ASAP please? Apperently it's going in a skip if we can't get it picked up in a few days. Petrol costs covered.

Sorry missed your post... 3 big variacs in one stack, two man lift, so not big physically, just heavy.

Andy.

A 3-phase variac stack. Planning a yet bigger amplifier?

Not as such David, though I'm always thinking up mad schemes, just hate to see good stuff skipped, which it probably will have been by now. My variac is 8A so no real need, but would have split in 3 and offered em FOC here. Sent Uncle B a PM, no response, fair enough, it's not a DAC 90.

Oh well, I tried, Andy.

Yes, I just saw your message. The person I was thinking of who might have been able to help isn't around, unfortunately. Like you, I was not in need of one but thought it mad someone might just let it go to waste. I can't understand people hanging on to old newspapers, when they could be hoarding useful components and solid, working electronics!
