Default Polishing Bakelite-Tesla Talisman

I got a Tesla Talisman from a swapmeet in Hoenderloo in Holland today. I decided to do some Bakelite polishing but while my DAC90As came up a treat the Talisman seemed to be on the dull side. Should I use something like T-Cut on it?

I usually find Brasso does the trick. However there have been a couple of instances where this just didn't seem to make much progress so I resorted T-cut and that did the trick. It is more abrasive than Brasso so should only be used as a last resort.

Jon

Yes be careful using T-Cut as Jon says, You could try Paste Polishing (Number 6) made by Greygate Chemical Products, its not very abrasive and I know someone who uses it on their phone collection.

Thanks for the advice guys. I shall try Brasso and then T-Cut, if necessary. I have already tried Bakelite Polish and while it did work a treat on the DAC90As the Talisman still looks dull.
