HMV 1618A radiogram.
I have an HMV model 1618A seven valve console auto radiogram.
I'm looking for some advice on the valves, some light up some don't. Also, I need a speaker and aerial for this model. The turntable works fine and all needles are good. |

This may get more response if moved to Vintage Radio (domestic) or Vintage Audio.
With an explanation of why it needs a replacement speaker. The aerial will just be a long piece of wire. There could be a number of reasons why some of the valves are not, or appear not, to be lit.

I agree with Geoff, also it would also be useful to know if any sound, hum, crackle etc, was produced when you switched it on.
