Default HMV 1618A radiogram.

I have an HMV model 1618A seven valve console auto radiogram.

I'm looking for some advice on the valves, some light up some don't.

Also, I need a speaker and aerial for this model.

The turntable works fine and all needles are good.

This may get more response if moved to Vintage Radio (domestic) or Vintage Audio.
With an explanation of why it needs a replacement speaker. The aerial will just be a long piece of wire. There could be a number of reasons why some of the valves are not, or appear not, to be lit.

I agree with Geoff, also it would also be useful to know if any sound, hum, crackle etc, was produced when you switched it on.
Cheers
