Re: Rediffusion televisions
well after dismantling, cleaning reassembling and changing of some capacitors and a few repairs here and there i have soldered a suitably isolated cable into the grid of the video amplifying pentode to feed in a demodulated video signal. after some adjustment was greeted with a fairly reasonable picture. now to build a small valve audio amplifier for the speaker.

Re: Rediffusion televisions
Did Rediffusion make an aerial version of the Mark 8 in this style of cabinet? Or was this a cable only receiver.

Re: Rediffusion televisions
I have a manual for a Mk8A covering both single & dual standard. Someone has written Plessey Mk7 on the front. The cabinet is much more modern & the chassis bears no resemblance at all.
