Post Fidelty and Westinghouse age and value wanted

Hi all

Fidelty Rad 16 serial number 74503 do any members know the age of this set and how much it is worth, it's a bit grubby nicotine yellow etc and the tunning knob is missing

The next radio is a Westinghouse RF43W070 Black, serial number 4952 the sound quality is superb compared to the little Grundig boy 30 ive been using in the workshop it's also quite heavy for it's size do any members know the age and how much it's worth

Regards

Marcus.........

Fidelity Sets were the 'Fur coat and no Knickers' types. Cheap and Nasty some say, but they did carry on working. That one is worth not too much.

The Westinghouse is a typical 70s tranny, albeit with a good sound. Fiver at most.

If you want to sell them, I'd say £5 for the two.

Cheers,

Steve P

Very prominent in America from the earliest days, but I've not heard of any being sold over here: perhaps found its way here with someone in the armed services, as quite a few sets did. This one's recent enough that I'd guess it to be of Japanese manufacture.
