It's not as if they pronounce volksvagen with the same letter twice, though a German with a specific accent or speech impediment might.
When I was taught German in school, I learnt that "v" was pronounced similarly to "f", so that Volkswagen would be pronounced "Folksvaagen".

Don't forget the oe in Loewe is just an alternative for the ő in Löwe. It turns the o sound into an er sound, so lerve with the trailing e sounded is the pronunciation in German.


Volkswagen is pronounced Folksvargun with a short o sound. Edit: Reply crossed in post.

The consensus would appear to be Brands, if we need to use their full Sunday name. Especially as it's Canadian, not European.
