It was a good day out for me too.
A slack handful of useful valves and the makings of a future project, a bag of electrolytics from Keith that will replenish the toy box.
And many thanks to Mike Barker for the can of varnish that I nearly left on Keiths table! The shower radio by the way was received very well by Mrs Nut and she was heard to be listening to the Today programme this morning with it.

Definitely a good day, apart from the weather I managed to please the wife by bringing home less than I took. It was also a good opportunity to speak to many members of the forum.

One or two people did ask if I was giving a talk. Not at the April meet only the November meet. This years talk will be on Valves and Valve Testing.

Another great day out surrounded by fellow addicts . Many thanks to all who made it possible, organisers and attendees. I managed to move on a couple of tellies and a few radios as well, but when Mike uttered that fatefull phrase that starts, "everything over here now is only......", I found myself rehoming a few transistors, incuding a couple of the R707,s

Yes a good day out, nice weather, pity about the miles of 50MPH on the M62 (and the usual set of drivers who have absolutely no clue what 'average speed cameras' do!) but hey.

Had quite a good day, Managed to pass on my oscilloscope and AVO.

Came away with a lovely condition Murphy A100 and that huge RGD dual standard television on stand. Nice to see the 405 line televisions running, I have the same Vidor model as one of those on the stage, Gives me the reminder to get it going again
