Default Soldering Battery holder

On the advice of several members here I decided to install a Maplins' 4 D Cell holder in one of my RT1's and it works super. Luckily enough I work with the Royal Signals and I was able to have some good instruction.

Sorry this is not unusual, interesting or particularily challenging but i feel immensely satisfied at having a new skill.

The complexity or skill of a job doesn't matter; what does matter is the job being a success and your being satisfied with it - as in this case.

My own RT1 has a Maplins 4 x C holder fitted and I simply fitted a PP3 connector to the battery leads of the radio to mate with those of the battery holder.
