Thanks, this in an interesting item which is worth documenting for posterity, if not actually keeping and restoring! I'll keep a note of the images and observations, and will start a thread in the Testgear Forum when this 'offers' thread sinks down towards oblivion.

I.L.S. receivers mde by S.T.C. Used in most British RAF aircrat in the cold war period. Still flying in the last RAF Lightnings till 1988, and in BAe's last few till about 1993. Also seen in V bombers, Shackleton, Hunter, etc... Earliest documentation I've seen for these is 1950., so getting on for about half a century in front-line service!

More info: https://www.scottbouch.com/mcfs/ligh...system-ils.htm

The units with two RF connectors are Marker and Localiser receivers, the units with one RF connector are Glidepath receivers.

"Pacitor" was a technology used in aircraft fuel contents gauging, this is the system test set.

Works by observing the changing electrical capacitance between two vertical tubes sitting in the fuel tank, due to changing level of fuel.

Cheers, Scott
