Default Avo 2 panel valve tester set zero pot replacement

So now I have time to work on 3 of these testers one of them had a broken wound wire at the end of its wafer. I cannot repair it but I'm wondering if there is a replacement pot I can install in place.

It is the outer 1.8k winding.

I have just re-purposed the control part of a 2 panel AVO as a curve tracer and have the part you need spare but I have no idea what the postage to Australia would be.
PM me if you want me to look into it.

Thanks for the reply Peter. Have to admit I'm more intrigued by your curve tracer implementation than the zero control although I would be interested in it as well but surely somebody has replaced it with a pot before.

The problem is that the original is not linear as you can see from the shape of the winding.
