Bill was an excellent mentor to our two new moderators, and chose not to leave until they were fully conversant with how we do things, so he has definitely passed it on here.

Bill's wise, insightful and down-to-earth posts and dry but gentle humour have been excellent qualities in a moderator, hopefully he'll continue his presence as a member and contributor here.

Big thanks from me, too - other people have already said it all, but it's down to the moderation to keeping it working well, and that is all down to the volunteers!

This is by far the most active Forum which I belong to, which says something.

And I do love the snippets of dry humour when threads have to be closed...

Happy retirement from moderation, Bill!

Hi Bill,

Thank you so much for everything, i still remember our dealings just as if it were yesterday, when i bought the Disc Jockey Major record player case and speaker from you.

Thanks for all the times I've had a little moan about life in general, and my mate who incidentally is still moaning more than ever.

Due to this and everything else that's going on in life, i must apologise for not wishing you the usual birthday wishes and new year greatings, i even forgot to look at my own birthday last year on the forum.

Anyway Bill, do have a good future going forward, you will be missed, and your good work here will be remembered by all and please do keep well and take care.

Paul.
