I have used something called "shoe goo" which is rubbery and flexible, whist being able to stick really well. Without that I would likely have gone down the PVA route.

That looks like a really good repair !
Reminds me of coming home to find my wife had visitors, one of them was a toddler that thought poking his finger into my prize JBL's woofer was a great pass time ! Smiling and holding back tears, I carried them out of the room and managed a similar repair. Luckily the cone was white so I used some Tipex to hide the repair. Still sounded great and I still have them 20 years later. Shaun. |
