Default Old telecom Plug name? (4mm x 3-pins)

Anyone recall those old telecoms Test Leads? The ones that had 3-off 4mm pins, two spaced at 19mm plus a third earth pin ...

I want to Google a couple for my "new" 1980s AF tester - we repair local PA gear for community halls & churches and meter has 3-way skts, so where to look or what them pesky 3-ways were called would be very kind!

Thank you,
Dave

We knew them as 'Siemens 3-pole' and they were on a number of HP telecomms testers such as 3770A 3724A with the appropriate options.

Thanks for info - had a feeling they were Siemens but not much shows up... Any more insights anyone?

The only phone related 3 pin plug I remember is this configuration:

I think this might be the one in question.

We also just called them "Siemens Three Pin".
Widely used in FDM and balanced audio systems.

Thank you so much folks... you covered the field for me there - especially the last one which is same as my kit I think.
Cheers,

Dave

This looks remarkably like the handset pin-out connections on my 1956 Soviet TAI-43 field telephones which were, I believe, modelled on the WWII German 'Feldsprecher' telephones. 1/2" between the closest two pins, exactly the same as a standard PO-231 audio broadcast test-tablet plug, and 1 1/4" between the outer pins.

More than mere coincidence, I think.

I have a lot of them here in the radio shack. I use them for 13.8v DC power distribution. A couple of portable batteries have them attached as well. Chosen long before the Anderson PowerPole connectors hit the UK amateur radio scene.
