It's a very kind offer, but I suppose we need to factor in the costs of shipping to the UK, where most of us are.

It might also help if you gave us a bit of information about exactly what you have to offer and how you got it. At the moment, it seems like one of those too good to be true offers, which can sometimes signify a scam

All the best,
Nick.

That's a very kind offer, you say "old capacitors and resistors", do you mean used components? Some pictures would help. Are you offering to cover the cost of posting? Not taking the mick, just trying to clarify.

According to a quick look online on the Royal Mail website, postage to Slovakia from UK is Ł2.90 2nd class small parcel, which sounds a bit rum, this being the price for domestic post. From recent experience, postage of small parcel from the EU was Ł4 to give some indication.

Andy.

Not far off then, thanks Rob. If the OP could clarify what the components are, it would help, we're in the dark else.

Try this - mohli by ste mať nejaké fotky z komponentov, prosím?

Please post in English, as per the forum rules.
Terry has kindly offered (his daughter in law's) help with any language oddities, but as I'm sure we appreciate this can't be open ended or immediate.

Ok, here is what I make of it:

"Hello, I am a radio amateur and I have many old and newer parts. I'm an older gentleman and have a lot of items that I no longer need, so I would like to give them to anyone who would like them for the cost of postage. I have a collection of transistor radios of various brands. Reply with what you need and if I have it, I will be happy to send it to you. Best regards. Koloman."

Koloman, its a kind offer, but as per Andy earlier, perhaps a bit more information as well as some photos might be helpful?

For example, what radios do you have? Valve, transistor? Mains or battery operated? What brands/models? Grunding, Philips? Sony? Rigonda? What? Otherwise, how can we guess what you may or may not have?

(WD still bearing post #3 in mind, but willing to give the benefit of the doubt)
