Default Radio Fob Watches

I have recently got a WS52 set and also own a R107. These have a carrier for a fob watch and wondered if these were made to fit a particular army watch and if so what make and model. I would quite like to find a suitable watch to fill the hole and would be interrested to find out more.

Perhaps radio operators supplied their own watches ?

I have posted a pictures of the WS52 under information wanted section

Regards Chris
