You have it working? thats good I knew it was a problem with the speakers but how to check remotely? you can see my train of thought.

I reckon.

Yellow wires on tag 1 of the output transformer:-

One goes to the speakers.
One goes to R7 on the PCB (feedback loop).
One goes to the extension speaker socket.

Brown wires on tag 5 of the output transformer.

One goes to the other side of the speakers.
One goes to chassis/ground. Perhaps on PCB?
