Default Smiths Sectric

Hi there
I just picked this up at a weekend market and am wondering just what it's function is? It has the three apertures on the dial which look as though they could be for a timing switch or could it be an alarm (or both). Looking at the back it has a lead going in for mains power and another coming out saying "output 300 watt max" Would this output power have been to a switch for something else, or perhaps to a slave clock ? I would like to restore it but first would like to know what it's intended function was, any help establishing that much appreciated.
Thanks
Phil (newbie)

Hi Phil, not too much to go wrong with these. The output would switch typically, a light but could also operate a low power kettle.

It's purely a timer. There should be a grommet on the back cover where the mains lead - it's important this should be fitted, plus the lead itself could need replacing for safety.
