Terry, I have a 1978 RSGB publication that has an article detailing a design for a 200kHz frequency standard using the Droitwitch transmission which is used to control an otherwise free running oscillator in a phase locked loop intergrated circuit. It provides a 100kHz and a 1MHz output. Not sure if this is the one you're looking for but if you're interested I'll scan the article which includes the circuit, calibration and build details, and email it to you.

I should have a copy and can scan it when I get home.

I'm not sure if this was for Droitwich when it was on 200kHz or the current frequency of 198kHz. There was also a circuit for a 198kHz locked standard in PW about a year ago.

See post 2 in this thread:-

I still have the scans mentioned, but they are earlier than 1984.

Having scanned the article from June 1984 Rad Com I'm posting it here as it's only a 400k file.

It appears that LW stations changed to a 9kHz spacing in 1988. From the article it was known that the frequency was going to change hence it was designed for either frequency.

I've emailed a copy of the standard described in "Test Equipment For The Radio Amateur" to terry lynch.
