Default 10 years old

Er, am I allowed to advertise my own web site here?

Well, anyway, http://www.oldtechnology.net will be 10 years old at the end of this month. Where has the time gone? I'm sure there are several parts of it which have hardly had a single update in all that time, but the original original original site looked an awful lot different.

The counter is showing almost 500,000 people have visited it since then, a trickle compared with Paul's excellent site here, but at least it's a trickle.

Thanks everyone.

From Mike.

Mike I didn't realise there was so much on your "Blog" these days. Always found it interesting and amusing but it slowed down when you weren't so well. [You probaly did yourself in rushing about so much!] It's good to know that both the site and it's owner are in good health at the ten year point! Dave W

Hi Mike.

I've got a lot to thank you and your great web site for. It was the very reason that I got back into this hobby after such a long gap.

Long may it continue

Cheers mate,

Thanks Steve. Your site must be of a fairly similar age too I guess.

I'm fighting fit these days thanks Dave, not sure about the web site though; maybe one day it'll get a complete overhaul, or, to use the awful modern term, a "makeover" - Yeuch! Thank you for your kind words though.

Also thank you to the person whose post was removed pretty soon after I started typing my replies. I'm still sniggering at the funny web site you posted the link to.

Very interesting and informative site Mike. I particularly like the look of the Bush TV22, it resembles a TV/radio hybrid! Outstanding

10 years eh? Blimey!

A very interesting site indeed and I must say as I have told you before Mike,
It was when I stumbled across your site some 5 or 6 years ago that I developed the bug for old tellies and it has thrived stronger and stronger ever since Long may this site live.. Well done Mikey!

Cheers

Hi Mike,

Thanks for introducing me to your website and it's already been of help.

I've just seen super pics of two VCRs that I'm holding onto, despite the wife's protests.

I have the Ferguson 3V16, although it branded as a Radio Rental and the Ferguson 3V29.

Cheers,

Tony

I've been looking at your site for a few years and still enjoy a sneaky peek from time to time, especially the vintage colour pages.

Happy Birthday and congratulations on a great site

Boy, the old TV pics brought back some memories; used to repair them in those days. Great site Mike.
