Radio Licence Plates
When did the small plastic licence plates, usually stuck inside radio cases and citing licensing authorities like “A8-S” cease to be needed?

From memory, sometime in the late-50s/early-60s.

Re: Radio Licence Plates
The Bush TR104 that I had as a Christmas present in 1961, had one of those plates.

The first set I have clearly without a plate is a 1964 set, so that was probably the change-over year as there are a few sets in Crackle's list dated 1964. -Jeremy
