Default Philips B7X14A/65 "Reverbeo“

Have been reading your experiences with this lovely set. I’ve recently acquired one and am having an odd problem. VHF fine. AM very low volume & sensitivity. Have replaced the ECH81 and the EF89 with no effect. Any suggestions ? Also the service sheet specs 2 AM IFs, 452 and 460hz. I’m assuming it’s 460hz as it responds to this. Also this is the /65 version. Does anyone have this circuit as mine is the original.
