Default Farnell E30/2 calibration

I’ve got at least three different copies of the manual for my Farnell E30/2 power supply. Unfortunately none of them contain calibration information. Can anyone shed any light as to what the trimmers inside these actually do? There are 5 of them inside it!

Have you tried comparing it with the manuals/circuit diagrams of the L-series power supplies? I wouldn't mind betting that the calibration method is similar. I have a couple of L-series power-supplies and unfortunately, the current calibration requires a variable resistor which can cope with the maximum current. It can get rather warm!
Colin.

I did actually look at that and unfortunately it's quite different as it has a hard current limit. I've resorted to building the DC side of it in LTspice and playing with the resistor values. I think I've nearly got it

Assuming you have the transistorised version rather than the later op-amp version:

T1 sets the maximum output voltage when in 30V mode.

T2 sets the maximum output voltage when in 15V mode. Do T1 first.

T3 sets the current limit.

T4 sets the current meter calibration.

T5 sets the voltmeter calibration.

Confirmed correct. All in calibration now. Thanks again
