Default 6th August BVWS Swapmeet Punnetts town

The BVWS summer swap meet at Punnetts Town Village Hall, East Sussex, is on Sunday 6th August.

For directions, see: http://www.bvws.org.uk/events/locations.php

Doors open at 10 (stall holders 9.30). The usual variety of stalls selling Radio, Television, HiFi, Audio, Comms receivers, Test gear, Valves, Components, Spares, etc.
And there's a working vintage Philips TV display. £5 entry payable at the door.
Ample free parking, hot and cold refreshments available.
The BVWS stall will be there selling the usual range of capacitors, Deoxit, etc., so you can stock up the workshop. And a van load of quality items from the bulging BVWS stores at 'we don't want to take stuff back' prices! And all major debit/credit cards now taken at the BVWS stall!
If you have one or two items you'd like to sell, the 'Bring and Buy' stall is where you can sell your items at 10% commission to the BVW&TV Museum.

There are still (at time of writing) a couple of stall tables available, contact organiser John Howes for details: johnhowes11@yahoo.co.uk

It's a members only event but guests are welcome for a sample visit. You can even take the plunge and join the BVWS on the day! Credit/debit card payments taken at the BVWS stall.

See you there!

I was probably the last person there at 10-30am and the car park was pretty full. It's a really enjoyable low key event but better attended than I've ever seen. Well worth the effort, especially if you are anywhere near [and I wasn't in Rammy this time]. Thanks for the Wireless Worlds and the Churchill 78's chaps!
The most fun you can have in a Village Hall [well maybe not].

Yes, it was a really good event and the best turn out yet!

It takes 4 or 5 years for a new event to really take off, this was year 4 for Punnetts and there was a great friendly buzz about the place. And location wise, it's definitely the nicest hall with the best views of all our meetings. And home made cake!

A big thanks to John and family for making it happen.
