Default Electronics and WW2 convoys

Hi Gents, I've just received the following from the IET, it is at Doncaster towards the end of Sept on a Sunday afternoon.
I'm afraid I couldn't get the link to paste correctly, but if you go onto the communities site you should be able to view it.

IET Event created the community event WW2 Convoys and the role of electronics in IET History of Technology Network.

Kind Regards,

The IET Engineering Communities Team

I have been going to these well attended events in April and September for some years and they are very good indeed. Although given by experts in their field they they are not overly technical so even I can follow them. In addition to the lectures being free the really excellent buffet lunch is also complementary.

Preceding this event (24/9) is the Aerojumble at the same venue which, whilst small, is also worth going to visit.

The organiser is Dr. Mike Diprose who should be contacted for registration. Once registered you will receive an invitation to future IET events at Doncaster. The site is easy to find being 5 mins from the M180.

Rather than give Mike's email in open forum if you are interested I will supply it by PM or email.

See you there?
