Default Another Scottish Meet

Hi Folks, Due to the success of the last meet I have been thinking about another Scottish Meet on October 2nd 2011. I will go ahead with this if there is sufficient interest, maybe David Simpson could make it this time. I look forward to any comments/interest you wish to make. Best regards, Norman

I would go for that. It would be a great opportunity to meet a lot of good people again.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the "Scottish Meets" and would certainly be up for another one in October. Looking forward to it already.

Regards,

Ken.

Count me in Norman.
Send PM's to those that attended and there are a few others I can think of that are not on here often.

I don't feel able to commit at this stage, but would certainly like to be there if other commitments permit.

Hi.
I am unable to attend I am afraid. My grandsons christening is on the day and I also have a four hour shift!
What I was hoping for though was some help in getting my old B40 to Normans to continue its journey further south to 60 0ldjohn.
I know Andy (radioman) isn't fit enough to attend so from this end it looks like flyingtech55 might be the only possibility, although I have PM'd him and as yet have had no reply.
Is anyone else from the west going that I could possibly tie up with?

Hi Trevor

I am going to Normans meet on the 2nd of Oct. As I think you know I am in Renfrewshire. If flyingtech55 cant help please PM me and we will see if we can work something out.

Regards,

Ken.

'Fraid I cant make it.Disslocated my shoulder a week ago. Back to the hospital again yesterday - told not to drive or lift anything heavy for a month.
However, "Andy Vandy" aka Andy Hood, says he fancies going & will kindly take some of my stuff down.
I hope everyone has a great time.

Regards, David

ps. Still an open house up here, test equipment - wise, for anyone passing by who has plenty of boot space.

Hi David.
I did indeed PM Norman informing him you couldn't attend but I think he was on holiday, I assume he is back now.
I hope the attendance doesn't drop too low now, the last meet up was really good and enjoyable. I don't know if David Boynes will go as I am not too sure if he is up to it.

If David or anyone else would like to shorten their driving journey then they can pile into my car in Edinburgh.

Hi all, I have been on holiday and I am working my way through my emails. I have sent pm's to everyone who expressed an interest in attending (I hope) to get attendance numbers. If I have missed anyone please accept my apoligies. I would like to extend the welcome to anyone who hasn't been to one of Scottish Meets and if you need any contact details please send a pm. Best regards to all. Norman

Hi.
All the best to all going tomorrow, I wish I could have attended. The Records & B40 heading south were deposited with forum Ken this morning.

Yes all Trevor's stuff is in my car and ready to go, however, I think I will need some help to get it out again. I am impressed just how heavy the 78's are not to mention the B40. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Regards,

Ken.
