Collaro Conquest drive wheels
I've just acquired a 1950s record player with a Collaro Conquest Mk II deck. The motor needs to be stripped and lubricated, but miraculously I think the autochange mechanism is still complete and working order.
But... (there's always a But!) the idler wheel and the wheel that takes off the drive for the autochanger are rock-hard, and with notches around the rim. Does anyone know of a place where replacements can be bought? Or alternatively items for another deck (there seem to be a lot of BSR spares around) which will fit or could be adapted? |

Hi, you can't buy them but Terrys Rubber Rollers will rebuild them or you.

You cannot use BSR or Garrard idlers on the Collaro. I've never come across a "Conquest Mk II" - does it say that on the badge at the top LHS?
