Default Firewall blocking of this site

I find my Bulldog firewall blocks this site, until turned off. Other sites, including eBay, appear ok. This is a recent occurrence, repeatable over the last week or so. Just wondering if anyone else is affected?

The software should be logging its actions somewhere, so you should be able to find out why it's blacklisted the forum.

It doesn't normally make sense to firewall outgoing connections, other than to spot malware trying to phone home. Some software firewalls do maintain a list of websites to be blocked though, and they often block in error. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing on the forum that would cause it to be identified as malicious.

I don’t run Bulldog, suggest you check the Bulldog logs, the cause should be logged in there.

Crossed with Paul.

Sometimes a range of ip’s get marked as spammers and a good ip just happens to get chucked in the middle of them.

Yes, there are logs, also a 'manage rules' facility that might be worth a look. This started around the '2nd Tuesday of the month' Microsoft upgrade time, something that has caused me problems previously, albeit never with firewall interaction. Thanks for the comments....
