Radio Constructor update
I have been searching for the remaining issues of RC to complete the run on the website and still cannot find the following:
1961: Sept to Dec inc. !962: March, April, May, Aug., Sept., Nov,. Dec. If anyone can help with these I would be most grateful. If you can't scan them I will happily do it for you if you can send them to me. Many thanks in anticipation, Jim . |

Re: Radio Constructor update
That's great Dave! Many thanks. I missed Jan 62 from that list so do you have that one as well please? I've sent a PM with my address.
So, thanks to Dave's generosity we only need (Jan 62?) and Sept, Oct, Nov 62 now for the full house. |

Re: Radio Constructor update
Ed,
I've tried sending you a PM but it won't recognise your User Name for some reason. I've tried varying it a few times but still no joy. Anyway my address is: * Best wishes, Jim Removed by Moderator for your safety. Ed's username is Ed_Dinning, the underscore doesn't show on his avatar, but he is active and will see this post. |

Jim.
You can PM any member by clicking on their username to the left of their posts. A drop down menu will appear from which you can select "send a private message to .....". This avoids the need to type a member's username.

Re: Radio Constructor update
Thanks Graham,
My error was due to the fact that the user name to the left of the posts is underlined which masks those user names, like mine and Ed's that include a line as well. Jim |

Re: Radio Constructor update
Hi Jim
I have the Sep 1961 issue of Radio Constructor if you still need it. I think Horris & Ed Dinning were sending you mainly the 1962 issues you require so I think you are still short of some of the 1961 issues. If you still require this one please PM me. I do not need it returning. Peter |

Re: Radio Constructor update
I only had a quick scan of the site (but had a feeling those were missing months copies), was looking to point someone in the right direction (if they were not already looking), in the hope that the missing copies get downloaded to said website.
Did not peruse the whole thread was just making sure we had it covered. I have to agree a mammoth task and one that is much appreciated. Whilst I did prefer the paper copies I have gotten used to reading the documents on-line. Going through Print and saving to pdf sections on items I am interested. I however often get lost for hours pouring through each issue different magazine from said site, whilst up complete the years/months/copies that I am missing. I am pretty sure I am not alone in that? Keep up the good work. |

Re: Radio Constructor update
I've just passed on the first scan to David, Dec 1961 thanks to Horris, and now I know why I couldn't find that last batch of RCs - I didn't have them in the first place although I had ticked them off in my records!!!!. So an added bonus is that I now have a batch of previously unread RCs to enjoy! It's an ill wind....

Re: Radio Constructor update
As far as I can tell those issues have now been uploaded to the American Broadcast History website, I checked it yesterday.

I've just sent the last scans to David so they should all be up on the website shortly. Many thanks to everybody who helped out, especially Horris and Ed for those final hard to get copies.
