Ediswan 2 valve radiophone
Hi everyone,
I have an Ediswan 2 valve radiophone that I haven't been able to find any information on. The closest is an advert for an Ediswan 'twovee'. In that advert, there is a reference to a 'predecessor', so I'm guessing my set is that model. Does anyone have another, or other information. I would like to ad my model to the radiomuseum website, but wanted some extra information to add. I will draw out a circuit as it has an unusual plug in coil arrangement - a basket wound coil on the rear, and an apposing plus/socket which is currently empty. I think it might need a link fitted? My theory (which I will test shortly) is that the link and coil are reversed for different wavelengths? Robert |

Re: Ediswan 2 valve radiophone
Thanks Mick. I'm still working out the circuit configuration. A bit tricky. I usually compare these early circuits to those of John Scott-Taggart, but no luck yet. I'll keep playing
