Home for Ampex tape recorders wantd
Hi all.
A friend of mine (like me, ex-Ampex) has two old recorders that he can't bring himself round to skipping: One is an Ampex 923 which is an early domestic model 3.75/7.5 ips 4 track dated around 1959/60 (valved). The other is an Ampex ATR700 .25" track stereo. This is a transistor model made by Teac for Ampex. It comes with a full manual. They are both in reasonable condition but have been stored in a garage for a number of years. The ATR700 is located in Petersfield, Hants. and the 923 in Reading. Free to anyone who is willing to pick them up. Cheers Brian |
