Default LibrePCB

For those that design printed circuit boards.

Today while looking for some software for designing analogue meter faces, I came across this little gem.

https://librepcb.org/

I downloaded and compiled this in about ten minutes, and on initial view It's everything anybody could want. It comes with many libraries but they need separate installing.

I'll keep you posted on my thoughts.

I tried it and it comes up with Not a valid win32 application or words to that effect.

Tried that. Kicad is way more mature and reliable I find. Plus the footprint library is huge.

I run Linux so I can't speak for windows installs.
I have used KICad for years, and I agree with you, but I thought it may be of general interest.
