Default Nixie clock assistance required!

I have a faulty Digeec nixie clock. I started a thread earlier here:

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=154478

I would very much like to get this clock working again, but I probably do not have the required skills. It was suggested that I post here and ask for help.

Whereabouts in the rather large general area "West Midlands" are you?

Yes, that's "only" about 40 miles away up the A49. PM me with a phone no. and we can have a chat about how to proceed.

Thank you, PM sent. I regularly travel to Ludlow, so it's only a little further south.

Unless this throws an unexpected wobbly, two new electrolytics and some attention to that cooked looking TIP29 (it was actually OK but I added a small heatsink and cleaned up the legs), it's now a goer.

An interesting bit of 1960s (?) cottage industry production. Nicely built though I doubt it would meet modern standards for creepage distances on the PSU PCB. All safely inside an earthed metal case, though.
