Help ID part
I can't find info on this device, assume mosfet, switching for back light on monitor. I read BH614T under that D606. Tried google, perhaps someone will know the logo, a with a long tail round it. Anny suggestions please.

Hi
You're probably right - it will be a MOSFET. If it's failed it could be a faulty transformer - that type often fails as does the backlight insulation (and the tubes themselves) within the screen. I might be telling you what you altready know, but check the two secondary windings of the transformer have identical resistances. |

Hya, I think you are spot on, should of come here first, have used a bit of time up, S2 and G2 have a short. Power supply fired up with no mosfet. Thanks for your reply

Another reply, I shall do that before ordering parts. Original problem was had to keep turning it on a few times. Two bulging caps on 4v rail. Replaced other caps but managed to bridge a small 10uf cap. Will check coils, thanks
