Default WW2 Holophane Lighting System

Am aware that during WW2 the RAF had a portable lighting system made by Holophane which I believe was originally designed to mark isolated dangers like temporary obstructions on airfields, and then latterly used by Pathfinding troops to mark parachute drop zones.

Does anyone here have any information about this lighting system inc photos - am interested in obtaining a set, but I need to know what it looks like to be able to find one.

Thanks

Tim

Interesting - is that DELTA lantern the ancestor of the Pifcos etc recently discussed here?

Thanks - though as I understand it this lamp is more like the type of light you'd find on an airfield flare path than a hand torch... so I think I'm looking for something else.

Cheers
