Default X rated Capacitor?

Hello a works friend of mine has asked me to help her find a new capacitor for her sewing machine.
Its 0.10UF rated at 250V and as you can see from the pics it has an X printed on it.
Does that mean I have to find an X-rated capacitor?
Cheers Les.

If the cap goes between line and neutral it will need to be "X" rated -and preferably not a paper type made by Rifa

You just need a modern X2 rated cap. You may be able scavenge one from a scrap power supply, though don't use another old Rifa like the bad one.
