Default Grundig TK5 available

Someone contacted me offering a Grundig TK5 (which I had to look up so I even knew what it was!) and I suggested I would offer it here.

She is in Burnley and is open to offers - it cost her £ 30.

PM me and I'll pass her contact details along.

Obviously depends on condition but I would only expect to get £5 or so
for one ..
I bought a Grundig TK6 recently for a pound at a boot sale
but it was a bit dirty.
Just my opinion ..

.........And it'll cost at least a tenner for new capacitors and, if you're very unlucky a set of belts.

The TK5 was only a very basic machine and was based on the original Grundig 500L and 700L. Agreed - about a fiver. Lots of Wimas and a Papst motor for the capstan - think there is an EM34 in it, that shows through a hole in the volume control.
