Default Transferring tapes made on a Trixette Everest

I may get involved with transferring tapes made on a Trixette Everest tape recorder. I haven't seen the tapes (or recorder) yet so I've no idea what to expect. I guess it was a domestic machine from the 1950s so probably 3.75"/s or 7.5"/s half track mono.

The Trixette recorder may end up coming in my direction. It's of no interest to me but it would be nice to find it a good home.

Hello Jeffrey,

The Everest is listed in the 1960 HiFi Year Book, and sounds quite a nice one as domestic recorders went. Certainly mono, almost certainly half track as you say, and it uses the Collaro Studio deck, hence has three speeds from 1 7/8 to 7 1/2 "/s.
