I have to say that is an impressive list. I thought I had a problem with the 17 scopes I own. Clearly I’m not trying hard enough

Hi!

There is one going out as well as going in – I sold a Cossor 4100 on eBay and I'm waiting for the buyer to come and collect it!

Now that I have my excellent sPlan 8.0 Circuit Diagram Software and the Uno Stencil Fonts, I am seriously considering a new series of "In Your Workshop", written in similar style, but featuring more in the way of T and M, using examples from my own personal collection, and if permission can be obtained to use examples from this Forum, the idea I propose will be the same mix of Theory, Fault–Finding, Things To Build and Reader's Hints, as well as "A to Z" and Dick & Smithy's August Day Out!

As with the original, certain of my personal examples will be carefully written to illustrate Dick's Disaster Tales!

Format wise, the same typefaces and drawing styles from the mid–1960s issues of "Radio Constructor" will be used but all content and drawings will be original!

Altogether I think the series ran to about 286-288 episodes, the first was in April 1956 and the last December 1981!

PS!

A new thread will be created as soon as I have chosen a subject for the first "pilot" episode, and posted for all Members to read and comment on, and if the reaction is as favourable as the many appreciative letters that R.C. Magazine got in Spring 1956, there will naturally be more, obviously I would have to write them very much more frequently than one per month tho!

I hope it's legit to post this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35w8iVYy-6c&t=356s
Mr Carlson apparently has something like 100 scopes.

Hi!

One now gone from my collection – the Cossor 4100 was collected today by the buyer, and the next one will get hauled up on my project bench – a Farnell DTC12 with a failure on the Component Tester Board!

Here's one you may not have seen: A Marconi TF2211.
It never went into production. This is one of just six development models.
It still works.
