Manuals for Briton 'B' and '200' door closers
I am expected to improve the dampener for our Briton 'B' and '200' door closers.
I've looked on line and I couldn't find any documentation on adjusting and general maintenance for any of the Briton door closers. Before I email any Briton refurbishing companies (which may charge me for a copy) Does anyone have any documentation or knowledge on how to adjust them? I have dealt with the modern version successfully which merely needs a screwdriver to tweak the strength and dampening but the Briton 'B' has a thumb nut which has no effect and the '200' doesn't seem to have anything, however putting some oil in the '200' has improved the dampening somewhat. Paul

I will scan the document and pm you.
Could you use the door closer as well? It looks new. Phil |
