Capacitive Dropper
Anyone know when the capacitor dropper (used in radio's) was first mooted,

Hi Lawrence, I think it dates back to the 30's. Chas Miller had some details about this many years ago in the Radiophile.
Problem in those days was capacitor reliability. Ed |
