Default Anyone seen these old 2% resistors before?

I'm trying to find out if these resistors are thick film resistors. This board was built in 1978 with all RS components parts, but from what I can tell, carbon film was not available at +/-2% back then. Anyone ever seen them before? They seem like a unicorn. I can't find any of them and I can't find any info about them.

I remember Maplin selling these (or something very like them) way back in their early days, they looked disappointingly like cheap miniature carbon comps!

Made by Neohm of Italy. The company’s symbol (Omega) is on the bandolier tape.

Used lots of these in the 1980s - very reliable and spot-on resistance values.

Are these the same size as the carbon-type resistors in equivalent watt value or are these smaller? i.e. is the size of the 0.5w thick the same as 0.5w carbon?

Not sure about U.S. sizes, but about half size, i.e. length 6.4mm, diameter 2.3mm.
I have also found I have some with 1% tolerance.

IIRC these were described as thick film metal glaze in the RS catalogue at the time.
