Great to see the mountain of Data flying in at the moment.

Herald1360,

Just as a check, does your new Model 7 Mk II 71303-A-557 have Pf Sockets ?
It should, but I don't want to assume anything.

Also, would you call the Colour Grey or Silver?

Jeremy,

Nice Haul you got there!
Would be interested to know the Case Style and Colour of the Model 7's.
Does the later one have Pf Sockets?

Aitor,

Likewise, ref post 2000, do you know the Case Style and Colour of those Model 7's.
Do any of them have Pf Sockets?

also ref Post 2002

Are you sure your Avo8 Pan-climatic is a Mk I ?
It's Date doesn't support that Mark.
1964 is the border between Mk II's and III's

Also, can you tell me what Colour is the Steel Case?
If original, it's likely to be Blue, Gold or Grey/Silver.

Sinewave,

Unless the Serials have only recently been added to Google Docs, they will have already
been included in the Forum Survey results, but I will double check.

Well, I'd call it grey. A "hammerite" type paint finish with dark and light grey intermingled.

Yes it has Pf sockets though only one still has its blanking plug.

As i told before, (see posts 2002 and 2009) probably mk2 or mk3, it was sold in 102 Pounds. I can´t see nothing special in it, does anyone know anything special about this Avo?

Nothing special. I don't see why someone wants one that desperately to pay that. I've got a few of them myself nice for the collection but otherwise nothing 'special'.

Thanks very much, it is correct, but many variants and sub-variants are not in that list, for example: Avo model 5 there are 2 version, with the Zero made of metal and baquelite, there are Sub-variants in Avo 7, 40, etc with or with out PF, with old style binding post or front... Only in AVO 7 10 sub-variants...

As Andy said, it is very complicated and in that list there are models that i didn´t know to exist, like model 40 braille and others... Many thanks! With that interesting info that Andy attached and my own reseach of sub variants, i will try to make a complete list.

Aitor
Yes i realize there are other 'build' variants, but i tried to avoid these and just stick with a list of official variants. The number of build variants runs into 100s, with different component values, lacquer changes, no. of windings on the transformers....etc.
