Hacker Democrat - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi

Please excuse my ignorance as a new member. I have purchased a Hacker Democrat to sit on the backseat of my 1964 Ford Taunus Classic Car

However I cant seem to find how to access the radio battery compartment or even find it.

Could someone help?

Hello and welcome,

The whole back pops off. Just push it off backwards with your thumbs, at the rear edge of the tuning scale.
