Axial inductors
Hi all,
Those axial inductors (the ones which looks like resistors), does the color of the body indicate a technical property, for example maximum current or voltage? Just wondering, I have a circuit board with two inductors, same inductivity but different body color. Thanks.

Re: Axial inductors
Different make, probably. We used lots of them at HP and body colours varied, but the values were the same and secondary factors were similar....
Except you couldn't always rely on the same handedness of winding! David

Re: Axial inductors
Thanks, David. Different make would make more sense.
