Hi from Cathy .. myself and Ash packed up quite a bit of stuff earlier but he needs to get a couple more packing boxes from work so we should have it boxed up and ready to send soon. I will add the weights and prices when it's all done and you can PM us your details.

Will check with Marc. If I am successful I am quite happy to scan it and make it available to anyone who wants it.

Thanks
Al

Edit: PM sent to Marc

Surprised no takers on the SJ Electronics 'SYSTEM POWE 90' PSU's . Took a peek inside one and really well made with epoxy glass PCB's etc 5v3A, 5v 1A & -12 -0 - +12 (current not spec'd). The one I got out tests out OK so the other one probably is too.

So nice in fact that I am keeping one for op-amp/ digital work. However, still one going free-of-charge if anyone needs one. Fairly heavy so it will be MyHermes delivery at cost

Onewatt .. yes no problem. I will bung in one of the LM338 adjustable regs I just found as I am adding one to mine on the +12v to give a low current variable supply.

May be a few days before shipping though as we have quite a bit to sort & pack !

That's great, thank you very much. Thats going to be much better for me rather than running multiple supplies which have been know to get mixed up.

Hi Cathy here... Most stuff is packed up now .. Ash has been away a bit on business but we should have it all done and dusted by Sunday and I will post the shipping costs over the weekend and book the items that are Myhermes to get picked up, as most are a bit heavy to take to the drop-off shop. Some people are tying up for delivery but anyone who wants shipping please PM your address (some members have already done this). I can they give you Ash's PayPal address... please make it a 'friends&family' payment, to avoid fees.

Thanks for your patience !

Do you have any more information on the LCD displays? Is there anything else on the PCB other than what looks like a standard HD44780 2 line display?

Thanks

Dave.

I will check Dave .. I think it's just the display and contrast pot. They were part of a training kit I think. Still have a couple left.

Hi there:

Most of the stuff has been posted/MyHermes and should be winging it's way to you over the next few days. Ash underestimated the weight of a couple of items but no worries as a couple of members kindly gave a little extra, so it all 'panned' out in the end.

Any manuals not yes sent...if you can PM your address I will post off and then let you know the postage costs via PM. Anything that is less than 1 .. just put the cost of the stamps in your local charity box please.

This all took a bit of organizing but it gives us both a great sense of satisfaction that we have cleared the space without having to 'bin' anything.

Ash says he has loads of component too but too many to list. As he goes through them he is going put them on an Excel spreadsheet, so that they are there if anyone needs anything ... as you can gather he's a bit of a hoarder.

The only thing not sent yet is the Sonar unit which is quite heavy.. before he ships it, Ash says will check if it power's up and the tube in it works.

best wishes ... Cathy x ... Now he can get on with my 30's valve radio!

Hi .. Ash checked out the sonar unit yesterday and it turns out it's intended to have batteries fitted but he powered it up from a power supply and confirms that the tube is working. Somewhere he definitely has some sensors for this but it may be a while before he finds them and I really need it out of the way! I think a member said he was interested, I will check and message him. It's going to be between 6 to 8 to ship MyHermes. It is branded 'Sonatest' and model no . is TE9

Ash took these pics attached.

Edit by Ash .. guess it must have a DC inverter in it to power the HT required for the CRT. I am unsure of the battery voltage but at 9v on a DC supply it powered the tube and drew just under 500mA It has 3 OC35's in it which may indicate it's age !
